Part of our 2013 Mayan Zone Winter Crusade was a secret mission to surprise 315 Mayan children with a gift for Christmas. 98% of the Mayan Indians in our region live in abject poverty and cannot afford to buy Christmas gifts for their children. In a coordinated effort with our church and business partners in the U.S., we were able to bless the children in two villages with gifts for Christmas. What is even more amazing is that not one child was left out. God made sure that we brought the exact amount of gifts to give to each child!
